November 2019-Analog Devices, Inc (ADI) launched a new broadband transceiver, it is RadioVerse™Part of the design and technology ecosystem. ADRV9026 is used to support base station applications, including single-standard and multi-standard 3G/4G/5G macro cell base stations, massive MIMO (M-MIMO) and small cell systems. ADRV9026 is ADI’s fourth-generation wideband RF transceiver, which integrates four channels with a low-power, small-size universal platform solution. This new software-defined transceiver supports Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) and Time Division Duplex (TDD) standards, which can help simplify the design of 3G/4G/5G applications while reducing system power, size, weight and cost.
The RadioVerse design and technology ecosystem provides a one-stop radio design environment, focusing on simplifying the radio development process for multiple markets and applications. The RadioVerse ecosystem includes rapid prototyping platforms, chip-level evaluation systems, simulation tools and development kits, as well as a global network of partners that provide different levels of design support.
The ADRV9026 is available in a 14 x 14 mm BGA package. The main features include:
· Four-channel transmitter and receiver with integrated dual-channel observation receiver
·LO frequency range: 650 MHz to 6000 MHz
·Maximum receiver/transmitter bandwidth: 200 MHz
·Maximum observation receiver/transmitter frequency synthesis bandwidth: 450 MHz
·Multi-chip phase synchronization for all local oscillators and baseband clocks
