Foot Levelers is delighted to celebrate our 70th anniversary. This is a great opportunity to take a look back at what we’ve accomplished and look to what’s ahead. Foot Levelers is recognized as a pioneer in innovation, developing a number of “firsts” in global health, including the first truly custom orthotic, first casting in foam methodology and first 3-D scanner. Our hand-crafted custom orthotics have always been the only ones that support all three arches of the foot to stabilize the entire body for optimal overall health and are backed by proven science.

Our ground-breaking tools and technology have fueled the development and continued introduction of solutions to meet evolving health and lifestyle needs. Through our multiple patents and ongoing innovation, millions of patients around the world have experienced better health, increased mobility and an improved quality of life. We’ve been proud to partner with the healthcare community through donations, educational and philanthropic support and numerous research studies on key topics.

Evidence-Based Results

Studies document that Foot Levelers orthotics are proven to reduce lower back pain by 34.5%, an impressive result that translates into better care for patients, lower costs for healthcare systems and better outcomes for providers in the spine care continuum.

Our research proves that proper biomechanics of the feet has a positive impact on the spine, specifically by reducing chronic low back pain. Our tools and technology come together where science meets performance. Our goal is to continue to serve as the pinnacle of health and wellness.

According to research conducted by Georgetown University Health Policy Institute, back pain is the sixth most costly condition in the United States, with health care costs and indirect costs due to back pain reaching over $12 billion per year and back problems representing a patients’ most frequent complaint to doctors.

We’re Just Getting Started!

Looking ahead, we’ll continue our mission of driving innovation to help doctors and their patients achieve the highest levels in care. In July, we launched InMotion+, the best custom orthotic we’ve ever offered. We took InMotion®, the world’s most prescribed custom orthotic, and added advanced performance features like 47% more shock absorption, 130% more propulsion and a Far Infrared Ray (FIR) top cover that redirects energy back into the body.
