In the “Communication Letter on Price Strategy”, Smart Micro stated that Smart Mobile completed its commitment to not adjust product prices in the first quarter of 2021 and won the approval of the market and customers.
With the increasing tension of the supply chain and the increasing pressure of rising raw material costs, in order to strive for supply chain production capacity, provide stable supply, and achieve continuous cooperation, the company has carefully discussed and decided that starting from April 1, 2021, some products will be price adjusted.

When the price increase letters of major MCUs at home and abroad came in succession, they promised “no price increase in the first quarter”, and Smart Micro Harvest terminals and channels were applauded. However, according to the chip master, the delivery time of the main general models of the MM32F series has been extended, the channel price has already risen, and the inventory level of the L series has also bottomed out.
Although Smart Micro has not announced the specific price increase and product line, the downstream channel side is probably well aware that it is not easy to postpone the price adjustment until April 1.
Since then, according to the incomplete statistics of the chip master, the main general-purpose MCU manufacturers at home and abroad have all raised their shipping prices. Because the agent distribution channel is more sensitive, the EMS and large-scale system terminal manufacturers are more affected.
