This standard is the third international standard including SM9 algorithm released after SM9 digital signature algorithm and SM9 logo encryption algorithm become international standards. So far, the SM9 algorithm has become the first asymmetric cryptographic algorithm in the field of Chinese cryptography that has been incorporated into the ISO/IEC standard. The release of this standard marks the further improvement of my country’s international standard system for commercial cryptographic algorithms, demonstrates my country’s advanced cryptographic technology level and international standardization capabilities, and helps enhance the international competitiveness of my country’s cryptographic industry.
